First, we have GHOST TOURS of the Library. Yep, real actual tours that reveal strange, unexplained happenings and sighting in the Library over the last 140 years. You’ll get to see places in the Library that are normally closed to the public. Like a hidden staircase and more!

What? That’s not enough? We’ve got more! We have Jeff Belanger, from the Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures,” speaking from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. He will be sharing his haunting tales for everyone to hear.

Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! Yep, we’ll have the movie playing from 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. Since you can’t actually call them, we have the next best thing. It’s called MuVChat; it’s like a cross between Twitter and Mystery Science Theater 3000. You text comments, jokes, pithy observations or just random stuff, and it all appears on the screen for everyone to see.

More? What about tarot cards? Crafts? And even more paranormal activities! What else will you be able to see, do and learn about? Come to the Central Library on October 19th from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. and “Seek the Unknown”!

If you can’t get to the event, look up other happenings at branches near you. We’ve got Haunted Indianapolis, more MuVChat showings of Ghostbusters, and even Tarot Card Art Workshops!

Have a great October and we’ll see you at the Library!
