First Friday at the Learning Curve—April 3rd!

First Friday is a monthly event featuring artists’ work in galleries all over Indianapolis—especially downtown. The Learning Curve is hosting their own First Friday on April 3rd, with artwork done by kids, of course! Join us starting at 7pm as we present digital work representing “The Future”—all created by young artists in the Indianapolis-area. We’ve got photographs, drawings, eclectic collage, as well as video and music submissions! In addition to the art, music will be provided by punk-rock marching band Mucca Pazza, and the hilariously zany voice artist Lord of the Yum Yum. Best of all—it’s free!

The Lord of the What What??

The Lord of the Yum Yum!  Come to Central Library on Friday Night, April 3rd from 7-9 and hear some great sounds created by Yum Yum.  Using his voice and tape loops, Yum Yum records himself singing, beatboxing and making vocal sound effects and then plays the sounds back to make incredible music.  Oh, and he does it all live, right in front of your ears.

Also playing is Mucca Pazza, a punk rock marching band who has played all over the country and on Late Night with Conan.

You’ll see great, youth-created digital art and hear music like you’ve never heard before.  First Friday at the Curve rocks!
