If you already use Twitter (http://www.twitter.com), then we don’t have to tell you how much fun it is. If you don’t, why don’t you give it a try? Twitter is a free website that lets you post short updates to your friends, and read their “tweets” about what they are doing. You can add lots of interesting people to your Twitter list, and see what they are doing and talking about. You can even get tweets sent to your cell phone as text messages.
Some of your favorite authors use Twitter, and it’s interesting to read a little about their personal lives. Here are a few lists of authors’ Twitter accounts: Felicia Day’s Blog, be sure to check all the comments for more authors (http://feliciaday.com/2009/01/twitter-author-list), Meg Cabot’s Twitter, (http://twitter.com/megcabot), and Celebrity Tweets (http://www.celebritytweet.com/). You can also google your favorite authors’ names and see if they have their Twitter accounts posted.
If you do start a Twitter account, don’t forget to add imcplteens!
