Also, a recipe to get you started:
Yum, Yum Dessert
1 10oz (maybe 12 oz) bag of Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips
1 10oz (maybe 12 oz) bag of Ghirardelli white chocolate chips
Cocoa Krispies cereal
1 box of Jiffy white cake mix
On a baking sheet, lay out the saltines end to end covering the entire pan. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a mixing bowl – this can be done in a microwave (see tips below). Be sure the microwave-safe bowl is dry. Pour the melted chocolate on top of the saltines and spread out. Sprinkle Cocoa Krispies on top of the chocolate. Place pan into the fridge for 5 minutes, to cool. Melt white chocolate in the same way. Add 1 cup of white cake mix to the melted white chocolate. Mix together well. This will create a very thick mixture – you may need to add a little water…heat to help the water absorb and thin the mixture a bit – this part is a bit tricky.
Drizzle mixture out over the dark chocolate and crackers. Sprinkle toffee bits on top, and refrigerate for 1-2 hours (or at least until hard).
Break into pieces to eat. You’ll need to use your hands, because it will be really hard.
Store leftovers in the fridge, otherwise the dessert will melt and get messy!
