What’s Thanksgiving all about?  Are you thankful for getting a couple of days off at work or school; for a job, family, house, food, etc; the start of Christmas shopping and sales; watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade or seeing the Christmas Tree light up on Monument Circle and seeing Santa Claus; and filling yourself silly of food at family gatherings.  Got you thinking now about what you are truly thankful for? What are some other Thanksgiving tradition and things you are thankful?

Have you every thought of how Thanksgiving is different now then back when the Pilgrims and Indians had the first one? This is a good time to visit your local library, to work on homework or maybe even get involved with the Pass the Book Program. Aren’t you thankful for your local library branch to offer such a nice place to be able visit with friends, to find information in various formats, and enjoy different programs without any cost to you.
