RSS Feeds
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a XML format used to distribute and share web content such as news headlines and website updates.
Using RSS Feeds
You will need a RSS Reader (also called a News Aggregator or Feed Reader) to view RSS Feeds. These programs retrieve data from your selected RSS Feeds, interpret the information and display it in an easy-to-read form.
There are several different types of RSS Readers, including web-based services and stand-alone programs. Additionally, modern web browsers include the ability to interpret RSS.
An extensive list of RSS Readers can be found on the News Aggregators site.
RSS Feeds are usually indicated using the RSS image: ![]()
