Holiday Closings
All Indianapolis Public Libraries will be closed on December 24 & 25 for the Christmas holiday. Additionally, the Flanner House Branch will be closed on December 26.
All libraries will close at 5 p.m. on December 31 and will remain closed on January 1, except the InfoZone, which will be open on January 1 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Additionally, the Flanner House Branch will be closed on January 2.

Nonprofit Risk Management Center
This organization, itself a nonprofit, provides an online resource center "on a range of risk management, liability and insurance topics" and free phone or e-mail based technical assistance.

BoardSource
Formerly the national Center for Nonprofit Boards, this is a membership organization that provides training and information for organization board members. There is a "comprehensive list" of "board essentials."

TechSoup.org
A nonprofit organization "specializing in technology assistance for community-based organizations." They provide lots of technology how-to information for nonprofits.

Serving the "institutions and people of Indiana" who work on behalf of children, the IYI compiles and publishes statistics, maintains a library, and offers fundraising and technical assistance to organizations that serve youth.

IRS Information for Charities and Non-Profits
From the US Internal Revenue Service, this site includes information about nonprofits, as well as types of nonprofits, and the requirements for becoming a tax-exempt organization. There is also a list, Publication 78, to find out if a particular organization is eligible for tax-deductible charitable contributions.
