Vocabulary

A child's vocabulary is the total number of words the child can understand when listening, speaking, reading & writing.

Reading out loud is a great way to increase your child's vocabulary. (And yours too!) Books that play with words and introduce new ones are often some of the most fun stories to read out loud.
