Hoopla “Kid’s Mode” Setting: You can use Hoopla on your computer or on a phone or iPad. (iTunes, Google Play) In the Hoopla settings you can turn on “Kid’s Mode”. Turning it on whether you are in the app or on the website will turn on a filter that will only show you materials for kids. This setting stays with the device, not the account. So if you want “Kid’s Mode” on an iPad, it’s set for only that iPad. If you use another device (like a PC), you will have to enable “Kid’s Mode” on that device, too.

Free eBooks on a Computer or iPad:
Free eBooks (will not work on the iPad): Why don’t these work on an iPad? Because these eBooks were made using Adobe Flash, a software platform often used to create animations & games. Adobe Flash will not play on an iPad. NOTE: Oxford Owl (the Owl reading the book) require you to set up an account to read the books. It is FREE, you just need to join by setting up a username and password first.
