In The Bear Who Shared, Norris the bear has been waiting for the last ripe fruit to fall from the tree. When it does he decides to share it with his two new friends. Norris is patient and kind and makes two new friends as a result. The stories listed below are a great way to start talking about sharing. Sharing is a skill even the smallest children can learn. They know how great it is when someone shares with THEM. They can also learn how great it feels to share what they have with someone else by donating to the Gleaners Food Bank right here in Indianapolis. Donate non-perishable food items at any Library branch and earn 20 points for the Read It and Eat Summer Reading Program. (Limit 20 points per point card.)
