Mayor Ballard to Pinpoint Our City´s One Mystery While Indiana-Connected Mystery-Creators Convene
September 28, 2009 by Reader's Connection
On Friday, October 16th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m, twenty-some mystery writers with Indiana connections will gather at Central Library. You can meet the authors, purchase their books and have a snack.
In the course of the evening, Mayor Greg Ballard will announce the title of this year’s One Book, One City selection. In honor of the Bouchercon World Mystery Convention, which is transpiring in Indianapolis October 15-18, the title for this year will be one of Indiana native Rex Stout’s Nero Wolfe mysteries.
The first 500 guests will receive a free copy of the selected title.
Here are the names of the Bouchercon authors who will attend the Indiana Mystery Writers celebration at Central Library. Click on an author’s name to see if IMCPL owns books by that author.
