Indy Author Fair: 3 Workshops, All Over Town

October 2, 2013 by Reader's Connection

The Indy Author Fair is scheduled for October 26th at Central Library, and I plan to say more about that, but three writing workshops connected with the fair, all presented by the Writers Center of Indiana, are being offered at branches throughout October and November.

Click on the picture or the workshop title to see the branch schedule.

Indiana Authors Fair: Writing Your Life

This introduction to the memoir will help attendees find the voice to tell their own stories and set them on the writer’s path.

Indiana Authors Fair: Getting Started

Adults who are thinking about writing or wishing to connect with other local writers are invited to this workshop. They’ll participate in writing exercises and lively conversation about writing and the writing life that will jump-start the process of becoming a writer.

Indiana Authors Fair: Self-Publishing eBooks

This workshop will include information about services available to distribute eBooks, what technical skills are required, the costs of publishing, how to make eBooks available on eReader devices, and tips about marketing eBooks.

(And don’t forget about CityWrite, which is happening on October 19th at Central, Glendale and Fountain Square.)
