A New Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Discussion Group at Glendale

March 22, 2012 by Reader's Connection

Here´s your chance to become more than human. Or anyway to read about individuals who are more than human.

Portal, a new science fiction & fantasy book discussion group, is scheduled to start meeting at the Glendale Branch on the fourth Sunday of each month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

You can click on the group´s name above or on the picture to the left to go to Portal´s Facebook page. The topic for the first discussion on April 22nd will be More Than Human – Exploring Metamorphosis and Transformation.

That’s right. There’s not one particular book to discuss, there’s a topic. Here’s a list of suggested titles from Portal’s Facebook page, and some from Irvington Librarian Steve Bridge. Other suggestions are welcome on the Facebook page as comments. Read one or more books on this theme and be ready to discuss–or to listen to the discussion.
