Did you even know that such a holiday existed? I didn´t, until a couple minutes ago. But since 1992 The National Quilting Association has been sponsoring this event: the third Saturday in March is National Quilting Day, and it falls this year on the 20th, the first day of spring.
We shall observe the occasion by displaying a quilt of our recent titles on the subject.
Simple Strategies for Block-Swap Quilts by Lynn Roddy Brown
Liberated Quiltmaking II by Gwen Marston
Sew and Go Totes : 9 Quilted Projects by Kristine Poor
Bits of Bargello by Karen Gibbs
Quilted Elegance by Rami Kim
Quilts with Attitude by Deb Karasik
Hearts and Tulips by Margaret Docherty
Yes, I know, the cover seems to be saying that the title is Folk Art Tulips. I’m guessing, though, that the title page says Hearts & Tulips.
