In partnership with WorkOne and EmployIndy, the Library presents a free class for unemployed or underemployed individuals to receive one-on-one assistance to enhance their employment skills. The session will focus on job search strategies, interviewing skills, resume development, and instruction on basic computer skills. The TCU Foundation Job Center is also made possible by The Glick Fund, a fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation, and The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund through grants to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

Children ages 9 and up are invited to get folding during this program presented by Art With a Heart. They'll learn basic folds and create their own holiday masterpieces.

Adults are invited to drop in anytime during the scheduled time to receive one-on-one information about the Affordable Care Act and the health care marketplace from representatives of local health care organizations who can explain and answer questions.

Children who are reluctant readers are invited to read to Gracie or Dandy, Golden Doodles. This activity can help young ones improve their reading skills and self-confidence. Participants may sign-up for a 10-minute reading session with Gracie or Dandy.
