- Pivot Tables in Microsoft Excel

This Mini Lab class will teach you how use pivot tables to sort and summarize data in Microsoft Excel 2010. Before taking this Mini Lab class you must complete the Excel Basics class. These classes will be held in the Mini Lab on the 4th floor.

Learn best practices in troubleshooting, networking and security across a variety of electronic devices to set the stage for a career in IT. By the end of the course, students will be able to assemble and disassemble computers properly, identify technologies, troubleshoot, and locate employers who hire based on A+ certification, among other skills. Students should have basic knowledge of computer use, hand tool use, and principals of electricity. This hands-on course consists of three sessions, each building upon the last. It is presented in partnership with Cyberia Ltd. Local Makerspace and education community.
- Hauntings of Indiana Talk: Researching the History of Haunted Locations

As part of the Library's Adult Summer Reading Program whose theme celebrates Indiana's bicentennial, adults are invited as Michael and Nicole Kobrowski of Unseenpress.com Inc. will present a spirited discussion about paranormal investigations. The Library presents a free service for unemployed or underemployed individuals to receive one-on-one assistance to enhance their employment skills. The session will focus on job search strategies, interviewing skills, resume development, and instruction on basic computer skills. The Job Center is made possible by the Robert & Toni Bader Charitable Foundation and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
