- Many Cultures, Many Instruments

Children of all ages and families are invited to enjoy a musical walk around the globe. Yurtfolk will play a collection of uncommon and unusual instruments that tell a story about different cultures.
- eBook Tinker Station

Patrons are invited to learn how to select and use eReaders, as well as search and download materials from the Library's extensive collection of eBooks, audiobooks and digital music. Patrons can drop in anytime during this two-hour visit by the Library's traveling eBook Tinker Station, which is staffed by an eReader expert who can answer questions about the equipment and collection. The Station provides reliable and unbiased information about this growing technology. The Tinker Helpline is also available to call for answers to your questions at 275-4500. This service is made possible by The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

Children of all ages and families are invited to jam in any language this summer! Three different bands will play throughout the Library system, and kids will have a chance to help out with the music during these 45-minute performances.
- TCU Foundation Job Center at Central Library

In partnership with WorkOne and EmployIndy, the Library presents a free class for unemployed or underemployed individuals to receive one-on-one assistance to enhance their employment skills. The session, held in the Computer Training Lab, will focus on job search strategies, interviewing skills, resume development, and instruction on basic computer skills. The TCU Foundation Job Center is also made possible by The Glick Fund, a fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation, and The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund through grants to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
