- Microsoft Publisher 2010 Basics

Learn to create professional-looking materials such as brochures, flyers and newsletters. By the end of this beginnersí class you should be able to know what kinds of publications you can produce with Microsoft Publisher; create a basic publication such as a business card or greeting card; personalize your publication with your own text and images, and print a publication you created. Bring a favorite photograph to scan and insert into your new business card or greeting card. Previous experience using MS Word is necessary for this class. This class is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. This class will be held in the Computer Training Lab.

Adults who have little or no experience using a PC are invited to learn to use a mouse and keyboard and other components of a computer. In addition, those with experience using a mouse, keyboard and Internet navigation are invited to learn how to manage their email accounts, avoid spam, and send and receive messages.
