Hi, I'm Ruth Hans, manager of the Warren Branch Library. I have many favorite books and would love to hear about yours. In my free time I'm quilting, reading, gardening, or playing with my dog.

About Warren Branch

On October 21, 1972, the Library Board approved the purchase of a site located at 9701 East 21st Street, adjacent to the Lakeside Elementary School, just northeast of Warren Central High School and midway between Post and Mitthoefer Roads. The 16,000 square-foot library opened for service on March 4, 1974.

On Sunday, June 3, 1979, a fire of uncertain origin started sometime before 4 p.m. in the interior book return area near the check-out desk. The branch was closed for seven months for clean-up and renovation, and reopened on January 2, 1980.

In the fall of 2004, the circulation area was renovated, providing a new charge desk and return area.
