Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Indianapolis Fire Department. The event will include:
- the firefighters’ traditional Bell Ceremony honoring those who served both IFD and IMCPL
- displays from the firefighters museum
- a fire safety trailer
- images from historic Indianapolis fires
- A vintage 1962 fire truck
- a modern fire truck
This event is presented by IMCPL, the Indianapolis Firefighters Museum, and the IUPUI University Library.
