Beginning February 1st you can take the Challenge to show what you know about Indiana’s Black History. You can pick up a game card with the challenge questions at any IMCPL library branch or you can take the Challenge online beginning Feb. 1, 2010. The first 5,000 entrants to the Indiana Black History Challenge will receive a prize. All participants who complete the Challenge with 10 correct answers are entered into a drawing for the grand prize – a Family Fun Pack, including:
- an overnight stay at the Hilton in downtown Indianapolis
- four tickets to the Indiana State Museum
- a gift certificate to the Best Chocolate in Town
- a family membership to the Indiana Historical Society

i want to know the answers to the black history
To find out the answers, go to the Indiana Black History Challenge page at http://www.imcpl.org/ibhc/. Scroll down. Click on “Take the Challenge Online.” Read the paragraph and then click on “Answer the Question.” You will be given choices. Click on the answer you think is correct. If you are correct the word “Correct” will appear. If you are wrong the word “Incorrect” will appear. You can keep clicking on answers until you find the correct one. Once you find the correct answer you can move on to the next question.
