The history of Kensington Stables in Brooklyn, New York City.
One hundred years ago everybody used horses for transportation. In those old days New York City alone had over 100,000 horses. One of the old city stables is still operating in Brooklyn with 37 working horses available for riding lessons, trail rides and street fairs. Ted Lewin tell us the story of this stable through beautiful pictures of past and present. As a special treat he draws each horse’s portrait with his name underneath.
