Adults and teens are invited for a special commemoration of the life and work of Indiana author and naturalist Gene Stratton-Porter during the program, "A Celebration of Gene Stratton-Porter's 150th Birthday," on Saturday, August 17 at 1:30 p.m. at the Irvington Branch, 5625 E. Washington Street.
A Legendary Evening With Patrick Rothfuss
Bestselling fantasy author Patrick Rothfuss will read excerpts from his novels, short stories and poetry during "A Legendary Evening With Patrick Rothfuss" on Thursday, August 15 at 7 p.m. at Central Library, in the Clowes Auditorium, 40 E. St. Clair Street.
The Life Stories Project
Individuals are invited to share family stories that can celebrate our commonalities and differences for a stronger, more vibrant community while leaving a legacy of stories for generations to come as part of "The Life Stories Project," presented on Sunday, July 14 during regular hours at Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair Street.
