Families and children are invited to meet their favorite authors and illustrators in children’s literature during the “Meet the Authors Community Gala,” on Friday, January 30 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Central Library in the Clowes Auditorium, 40 E. St. Clair Street.

The evening’s festivities begin at 7 p.m. with presentations from each author. The authors will autograph their works from 7:30 – 9 p.m. Book sales will be provided throughout the evening by Kids Ink Children’s Bookstore.

Cental Library will close at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2009 and then doors will re-open for this event at 6:45 p.m.
