Visitors can follow the progress of the NFL football playoffs leading up to the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis by viewing “The World’s Largest Football Bracket” at Central Library. This massive monument to the playoffs, measured at 120 feet wide by 54 feet high and encompassing four stories of the Library, can be found on the north glass wall of Central Library’s Atrium. Sanctioned by the NFL and the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee, the display includes QR Code technology that can link users of smart phones to up-to-the-minute news articles related to both the AFC and NFC playoffs. The display, open to the public during regular Central Library hours, will be updated as the playoffs progress through the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5.
