Meet the Artists 2013: A 25th Anniversary Celebration!
View the works of prominent local African-American artists during the 25th anniversary of "Meet the Artists," beginning Friday, February 1 and continuing through Saturday, March 23 at Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair Street.

The exhibit, sponsored by The Indianapolis Public Library's African-American History Committee, has grown to become one of the city's premiere cultural events while providing an avenue for African-American artists to showcase their works. The exhibit will feature works in a variety of artistic mediums throughout Central Library surrounding the theme, "World Outside My Window: A Silver Soiree."
Participating artists include Eric Shelton (mixed media), Jerome W. Chambers (oil, pencil), D. DelReverda-Jennings (acrylics), Anthony Radford (mixed media), Kevin Johnson (mixed media), Brittany Tate (photography), Al Brown (acrylics, water color pencil), Michele Wood (acrylics, book illustrator), LaShawnda Crowe-Storm (mixed media, quilts), Michael Gillespie (mixed media), Dennis Green (sculptor), Quinn Hartzol-Toney (handmade jewelry), Flora Jefferson (handmade jewelry), Regina Brown (dolls), and LJ McCaleb-Doucoure (photography). A youth exhibit coordinated by Art With a Heart also will be featured.
