Patrons are invited to learn how to select and use eReaders, as well as search and download materials from the Library's extensive collection of eBooks, audiobooks and digital music. Patrons can drop in anytime during this two-hour visit by the Library's traveling eBook Tinker Station, which is staffed by an eReader expert who can answer questions about the equipment and collection. The Station provides reliable and unbiased information about this growing technology. The Tinker Helpline is also available to call for answers to your questions at 275-4500. This service is made possible by The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

As part of The Big Read, during which individuals are encouraged to read the book, "The Beautiful Things That Heaven Bears" by Ethiopian-American author Dinaw Mengestu, the entire community is invited to a screening of the documentary, "Sincerely, Ethiopia," a film that highlights the positive community-building taking place in Ethiopia to create a brighter future. A panel discussion led by youth leaders of the Felege Hiywot Center will follow.

Free copies of the book will be available at all book discussion locations for book groups who would like to discuss this chosen novel.
