What is CurveWorld?
CurveWorld is an interactive virtual universe exclusive to the Learning Curve that builds literacy in information, technology, and media through fun games and activities. Research has shown that gaming stimulates learning, and CurveWorld is a software application that was designed to do just that. From editing digital photographs to creating their own web pages, children will learn the essential skills that shape the world around us in a fun and safe virtual environment.

When can kids log-on?
Currently, kids can log onto CurveWorld whenever a session is scheduled. To find out, check out the schedule by clicking here! Kids with a library card may also check out a laptop from 9a-4:30p, Monday through Friday, and use CurveWorld then, too.

Can you play from home?
Nope! Currently, CurveWorld is only available at the Learning Curve. This is to ensure that the network CurveWorld is on remains safe, and that the only CurveWorlders are other kids at the library!
