Conversations in Education: Crazy About Kids

The entire community is invited to Central Library’s Clowes Auditorium for a free series of public forums exploring educational issues facing the Indianapolis community. Parents, teachers and community leaders can join together in discussion and learn about options for local improvements. Join in on Wed. Oct. 9 at 6:00pm for the first program, entitled¬†“Are We Crazy About Kids?” which will feature a preview of the new PBS documentary series, “The Raising of America: Early Childhood and the Future of Our Nation.” This series explores the economics and benefits of investing in preschool. A discussion among local early childhood education leaders and the audience will follow. This program is presented by WFYI, United Way of Central Indiana and the Library.
