Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

In celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, kindergarteners from Challenge Foundation Academy acted out the story of the Sneetches with felt stars and a trip through Sylvester McMonkey McBean’s Star On machine! For more Seuss-tastic games and activities–including a Sneetch Beach Relay–hop on over to Seussville.com.

What are some other fun ways you can celebrate? The Lorax movie hits the big screen this weekend! Also, you can join the rest of the nation to help “read for the trees” in Read Across America, which encourages sharing books and reading aloud together. As always, you can try a catalog search to check out all your favorite Seuss stories from the library. Hats off to Dr. Seuss, and to reading!
