Our Dolphin Tale

Today, St. Peter’s Head Start preschoolers read a true story about Winter, the dolphin who was rescued after losing her tail, and then learned how to swim with a prosthetic tail made especially for her. The upcoming movie, Dolphin Tale, is based on this story, and even stars Winter the dolphin as herself!

Our group made our own stop motion movie of Winter swimming with her new tail using a webcam, feltboard, and Frames software. Watch Winter as she swims to meet her friend Panama at the other side of the aquarium!
