Las Posadas featuring Ensemble Folklorico

This month’s Bilingual Storytime included a Las Posadas celebration–complete with a piñata–plus music and dancing in Central’s atrium featuring traditional Mexican folk dancing by Ensemble Folklorico Indianapolis. Check out the videos below!

Maplewood Elementary’s Historic Hoosier Podcast

On Friday December 2nd Maplewood Elementary students visited the Learning Curve to research Historic Hoosiers. The students’ discovered information about Historic Hoosiers at the Indiana Historical Society’s website then recorded their findings at podcast stations. Hear the students’ podcasts below.
