Description: Offers a congratulatory message service. Persons 80 and older and couples celebrating a wedding anniversary of 50 years or more may receive a greeting card from the President. Greetings also may be sent for weddings, religious graduations, bar mitzvahs, condolences, retirements, Eagle Scout or Girl Scout Gold Awards and other events. At least 6 weeks in advance, mail pertinent information and dates, plus full name and address, requester's name and daytime phone number or call local congressional office for more information.
