Caroline Smerk came to IMCPL (Central Library / Arts and Music Service Section) via Bloomington, Indiana. A bright, friendly, never-say-no kind of girl brought with her a bit of a secret. She was, at a very young age, a breast cancer survivor. All was well for a few years, until this dreadful disease reared its ugly head.
