Call-a-Pacer and Read Like a Pro!

Call-a-Pacer's George HillChildren of all ages and families are invited hear members of the Indiana Pacers read their favorite stories in children's literature during "Read Like a Pro — Call-a-Pacer 2013" on The Indianapolis Public Library's 24-hour Call-a-Story telephone line.

By dialing 275-4444, or toll-free at 877-275-9007, callers will hear recorded stories from Pacers players who demonstrate their love of reading as a way to encourage young ones to develop the habit.

This year's "Read Like a Pro — Call-a-Pacer 2013" schedule includes:

April 8 — D.J. Augustin reads "Grumpy Cat"
April 15 — Danny Granger reads "Llama Llama Red Pajama"
April 22 — Roy Hibbert reads "Corduroy"
April 29 — Paul George reads "Is Your Mama a Llama?"
May 6 — Gerald Green reads from "I've Lost My Hippopotamus"
May 13 — Orlando Johnson reads "How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You?"
May 20 — George Hill reads "How Do You Feel?"
May 28 — Ian Mahinmi reads "Never Take a Shark to the Dentist"
June 3 — Jeff Pendergraph reads "Wiggle"
June 10 — Tyler Hansbrough reads "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?"
June 17 — Miles Plumlee reads from "Pop! The Invention of Bubble Gum"
