Holiday Closings
All Indianapolis Public Libraries will be closed on December 24 & 25 for the Christmas holiday. Additionally, the Flanner House Branch will be closed on December 26.
All libraries will close at 5 p.m. on December 31 and will remain closed on January 1, except the InfoZone, which will be open on January 1 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Additionally, the Flanner House Branch will be closed on January 2.

Clowes Foundation Grant Provides for Improved, More Efficient Services at the Shelby Branch Library

December 01, 2010 — The Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library Foundation has received a grant of $393,787 from the Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation that will better equip the Shelby Branch of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library.

October 21, 2010 — The Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library Foundation has received a grant in the amount of $30,000 from the Comcast Foundation in support of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library's 2011 Summer Reading Program.


New Digital Collection Highlights Local Firefighters' History
