Peace Dove Tour Comes to the Indy Library

September 15, 2014 — The "Peace Dove" - a custom metal sculpture made out of firearm parts was created by Ryan Feeney, an Indianapolis Firefighter and the founder of Indy Art Forge. The artwork will serve as a memorial to victims of criminal violence in Marion County. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the destruction of firearms used in the commission of crimes and supplied Feeney with the fragments of destroyed firearms to create the "Peace Dove".


"Kin Killin' Kin" Artist James Pate at Central Library

September 10, 2014 — Dayton, Ohio artist James Pate will discuss his powerful and thought provoking Central Library exhibit, "Kin Killin' Kin," during a free public presentation on Saturday, September 20 from 2 – 3:30 p.m. at Central Library in the Clowes Auditorium, 40 E. St. Clair Street.
