Suggest for Purchase
Patrons may suggest specific titles to be added to the library collection. This service does not include ordering titles for personal collections, nor can it be used to request the purchase of additional copies for titles already in our Online Catalog.
Titles not in the Library's collection may also be requested through InterLibrary Loan.
Suggestions may be made on:
- Titles not already listed in our Online Catalog
- Titles in Book, CD, or DVD format
- Titles already published or recently released
- Titles that fit the library collection policy and budget
* To include new and on order materials in your search, do not limit by format.
Maximum Number
Please limit your purchase suggestions to 1 title per form submission and 5 titles per week per cardholder. Additional requests will be returned to you unprocessed
Notice of Purchase
Due to the large number of suggestions we receive, it is not possible to buy every request or respond individually to each recommendation. However, if a title you suggest is purchased, we will place a hold request for you. Your holds are listed under Hold Requests in My Account.

Accessing Suggest for Purchase
This service requires that users log in to the My Account section of our web site. After logging in to the My Account area, click on the "Suggest for Purchase" link and then fill out the resulting form.
